Safety

• Butane is an extremely flammable, colorless gas. Keep this gas away from any type of flame! It is also irritating to the eyes, and harmful when inhaled, so avoid unnecessary exposure. Do this experiment under the hood!
• As always, be aware of your surroundings and others in the lab, and ask a TA if you have any questions.
