Let's try to separate a mixture of acetone, bp 56° , and benzene, bp 80°.

We will put a 50:50 mixture of acetone and benzene in this flask. Then we will add the necessary glassware to allow us to heat the flask, condense the hot vapor, and collect it in a flask.
