The report for experiment #23 should consist of a short abstract (less than 200 words), an experimental section, and supporting information. The supporting information should include your spectra and all other raw data and a brief analysis of the data.
You may work with your lab partner on the analysis of data but the write-up must be your own. Include your partner's name. Submit the lab report to me by attaching the document to e-mail and the supporting information to your TA in lab.
Reports for experiments #1 - 19 should be in the format of a full paper to J. Am. Chem. Soc. and include an abstract, introduction, results, discussion, conclusion, experimental section, references, and supporting information.
I will check the composition aspects of the report, make corrections and return it to you. After you make any necessary changes, you will return the report to me and I will give you a grade for scientific writing. I will then pass it on to the assigned TA and he will grade the science.
Check the information page for specific information on grading of laboratory reports. Each lab report, except the final
