CLC Tutoring Services
The
Chemistry Learning Center provides a variety of options if you need
to find a chemistry tutor. These options are listed below.

Walk-in
Tutoring: The Department of
Chemistry provides walk-in tutoring services in the Chemistry Learning
Center from 8:30 am until 5 pm Mon. thru Fri. This service is
free to everyone. The tutors are Chemistry Department Graduate
Teaching
Assistants
who are assigned to the Learning Center as part of their teaching
assignment. The CLC supervisor is also available to tutor students.

AXE
Tutors: AXE tutors are volunteer members of the
AXE Chemistry Fraternity who provide tutoring services as part of
their outreach activities. Their FA 07 Hours are also listed on our
Fall 07 tutoring schedule.

Tutors-for-Hire: The Chemistry Learning Center provides
a list of people who are available to work as tutors-for-hire. The
CLC does not verify the credentials of these individuals. The list
is generated via a web form that is available to the general public.
If you consult this list to find a tutor-for-hire, we strongly suggest
that you arrange to meet with your tutor in a public place, such
as a Library or even the Chemistry Learning Center, during daylight

Tutor-for-Hire
Web form: Are you good at chemistry and talented
at explaining difficult concepts to others? Yes? Well, put
your name on our Tutor-for-Hire list. We ask you to fill out
a short web form with your name, info. about your chemistry
background and contact info. Soon after you fill out the form,
your name will appear on our list. What are you waiting for? Sign

ACS
Student Affiliates: The American Chemical Society
Student Affiliates (ACSSA) provides unlimited one on one tutoring
for a small fee per semester. Tutors are members of the ACSSA.
