Students first type their names. We use Social Security Number as a unique identifier but any unique identifier, such as network ID, will work as well.
Students can select their own passwords which are stored encrypted in a database. The password can be cleared if necessary. Some students will forget their password during the semester.
After a student's identity is verified, the list of lessons is presented.
